Ie 7 will not load any page please help me?microsoft net

USE FIREFOX, less cookies, less ADS, LESS SPYWARE, its faster. You already said FF loaded it then...use it!

Ie 7 will not load any page please help me?microsoft flight simulator internet explorer

try refreshing the page or going to your home page
Dump then reload the 7 upgrade. Empty Recycle Bin, Shut down, reboot.

Reload 7, (if you must). Shut down/reboot.
dunno, lol
It is possible that you have history in the cache that is somehow in conflict with the new version----go to your internet options page and delete all history there ---keep the cookies---they are hard to do without once you restart---retry to load your pages

??? if this doesn't do it---you may have to remove and reinstall as mentioned by the dude here earlier

Hope this gets you going again

And, good luck !!!
This is a real nasty one that I've been through! When you download the new IE 7 and it does not load, it normally leaves a file on your computer explaining why- usually it's in your registry and you have to go in through your start menu to what is called "regedit" and search a certain setting in your registry that's preventing it from loading and change it. If you do not get this file, go to the MS site and type in "IE7 does not load" and hopefully it brings up the causes and solutions for you. If not, you may have to phone Microsoft while you are doing it and get them to walk you through it. If this is not the case, you may have a damaged winninet.dll file from a virus that went around the net recently. Before doing anything, make sure that all your important files are backed up. I had to re-format my computer.
Its time you changed your browser to Firefox or Opera and give time to MIcrosoft to stabilise IE7.

I use IE but want to also use MODZILLA FIREFOX...what will I need do once its on (Ive only used IE)?

Im only familiar with IE and didnt even know until recently that its ok to have both on there (IE and Firefox). Ive been having a lot of probs with IE b/c it is VERY slow, keeps crashing, homepage keeps rearranging itself and I am worried about spyware.

Ive heard Firefox works well so I wanna try it..........just wondering though, what will I need to do once its on? Does it work the same way as IE or it it a completely different setup? Wheres the best place to download it from? Also, will it slow down my computer more to have both IE and Firefox on it?

Mozilla Firefox is the best web browser out. I use it myself. I suggest you stop using IE because you can easily get spyware and annoying pop ups out of nowhere. Firefox blocks all of that so you dont have to worry about it. Once you download the program it will ask you if you want to transfer every you had saved on IE to Firefox, so basically you wont lose anything at all.

Download it from the mozilla website (just type mozilla firefox in google) and it works in exactly the same way. it wont slow down your computer to have both on (at least for me it hasnt)
It's fine to use both programs if you choose to do so, I use both and like both of them...when I want to use IE, I just click on the IE icon...if I want to use Firefox, I click on Firefox icon...just that simple.

Use firefox much better

IE is running with addons disabled? HELP ME PLEASE?microsoft internet explorer internet explorer

The only thing I can think of is going into internet options and go under the advanced tab and click on "Restore Defaults" other then that you may have yo un-install and re-install IE7. That Internet browser has been having soo much trouble lately it isn't funny.

Why doesnt IE work with the
code?

It works in firefox but not in IE, is there another code that works for ie thats not %26lt;BR%26gt; or that works for both?

Why doesnt IE work with the %26lt;BR%26gt; code?windows mail

IE supports %26lt;br%26gt;, although is almost every case %26lt;br%26gt; should be replaced with paragraphs, list items or margins.

Why doesnt IE work with the %26lt;BR%26gt; code?microsoft maps internet explorer

Try br / With the %26lt; and %26gt;. %26lt; br / %26gt; without the space before b and after /

Internet explorer is using a more strict form of HTML now.
They both support the %26lt;br%26gt; code, and it should work fine.
but it does !!!

anyways, try the %26lt;hr%26gt; or %26lt;p%26gt; tag then.....
Just use the %26lt;p%26gt; tag, for example:

%26lt;p%26gt;paragraph here%26lt;/p%26gt;

%26lt;p%26gt;paragraph here%26lt;/p%26gt;

It will show up with a line break in the middle.

IE can't browse the web?

I cannot browse the web through IE (or Firefox) on a PC w/ Win2000. I can though access a local server and I can access a remote server which is located in TX. Checked the Network connections and TCP/IP is there.

Any help is appreciated.

Hi,

If you are unable to browse but still connect to servers then , this could be a winsock issue.

Try following the instructions listed here,

Microsoft IE?

Let's assume that I have an IE explorer open. When I open another explorer window and go to google (or any site) and start typing in my query, then the first window will come up, unless it is minimized on the toolbar. Has anybody experienced this before ? I notice this does not happen with Mozilla. Is this a bug in IE explorer ?

Microsoft IE?windows messenger

its IE thats doing this. Hex Variables used in many versions of windows that were released without the new verion of windows have a tenticy to confuse header requests with other windows, bringing them up if the are in the cache, like when they are open. Once they are in the RAM (minimised) this problem wont happen. Other browsers that are written in Visual Basic, like maxthon will have this problem as well, but if it [the browser] made out of a different language or configures the headers differently, then it will work fine. Mozilla is written in c++

can't say i have ... something's fishy there.

Uninstalling IE?

I get ridiculous amounts of pop-ups, and I have Norton, i've downloaded and anti-spy ware and ad ware, but they still keep coming up. I downloaded Mozilla since I've heard better things about it, but now i want to uninstall IE in hopes the pop-ups will go away.

When I went to uninstall IE, it says something like "if you wish to uninstall IE, all of these programs that have been downloaded using IE may not work properly." Is that just a scheme so I don't uninstall it, or will it really do damage to my programs?

Uninstalling IE?nintendo ds browser

What it says is "If these programs depend on IE they may not work properly after it is removed."

It should not do damage to your programs. Because the programs IE uses is either updates for IE or plugins that you downloaded that will only be used by IE. So there is a 99.9% chance that it will not mess up any of you programs.

But if for some odd reason it does mess up you programs then you can alway re-install IE.

Uninstalling IE?windows 98 internet explorer

most general appz will not be affected. But, if you downloaded programs that install IE specific plug-ins, you could loose the ability to run them. But I doubt that most of your programs such as games, microsoft office, adobe reader etc, should be affected
Go in control panel %26amp; uninstall from their .
It's not a good idea to uninstall IE. It could have some bad effects on your system.

Try running your anit-virus and anti spyware in safe mode. This will get rid of the cr*p you can't get rid of normally.

Safe mode:

Restart you PC and as it starts, keep hitting the F8 key. You will have the option to get into safe mode then.
If I was you, I would just leave IE alone and DONT uninstall it, because things like windows update DO use IE. Plus if you just leave IE alone it cant hurt you.
It really could cause some programs not to work.

I don't think IE7 is the cause of the popups, other than it's more vulnerable to spyware and other things.

I would suggest downloading a few programs to clean up your computer.

??AdAware

? CC Cleaner (run both internet cleaner, and registry tools)

? Windows Registry Mechanic

? Run this free tool

(searches/removes spyware, grayware, malware, etc.)

Next, I would check to see what's starting up with your computer by clicking run, then typing "msconfig". This will pop open a window and you want to click the startup tab. If your unsure of what these items are you can always google the process name to determine if it's an ok program.

Also, I would check your add/remove program list to see if there are any suspect programs in there.

Example 800 Search Assistant . If you find anything, remove it.
ull wreck ur system if u do,jus ese firefox exclusivly
Internet Explorer cannot be uninstall from the computer because it is part of your Operating System ( Windows). If you attempt to remove you will be loosing important files to operate your computer. So don't uninstall.

It will not hurt your system by leaving it be and it won't interfere with firefox. When you are using firefox as your Browser Internet explorer won't make the popups appear since it is not running.

Popups can be stopped by the Browser itself look in the toolbar for an option to stop popups , I'm sure you will find it.

If you don't find any your antivirus and spyware programs won't help as they are not designed to stop popups . You need to download a free anti popup program from the web such as Adware which stops and removes advertisement popup windows
